Tree Planting with - Rosemary Gardens Neighborhood

Ever planted a tree before?  Think you got what it takes?  Plant a tree with your loved ones and let it symbolize the bond you share.  You also help give life back to Earth by supporting the social, communal, environmental benefits of trees.

This Saturday February 1st we will be supporting Our City Forest (OCF), an urban forestry non-profit that strives to make the city of San Jose a greener place.  This planting will take place at Rosemary Garden Neighborhood and we will be meeting at 1297 Forrestal Avenue, San Jose at 9:00am.  We will be planting 16 trees with OCF and other volunteer groups.  Each person will be planting one tree in a team of two to four.  REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Bring water, snacks, sun protection and clothes you can get dirty!  Closed toed shoes are required.  Arrive by 9:00am to watch the planting demonstration and help set up.  We will be meeting in front of the residence at 1297 Forrestal Ave.  We will be finishing the planting by 12:00pm.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.  If you are interested in attending but the RSVP has closed, then please contact the organizers to check for availability.  The RSVP is set to close 24 hours before the start of the event to help OurCityForest and Silicon Valley Volunteer keep track of the headcount.  We can be reached at [masked].

Thank you,

Silicon Valley Volunteer

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
