I have to apologize for not able to schedule and deliver Gamification event sooner this summer. I have been asked by other influential social gaming and mobile organizers to combine effort with their interests in putting one big event together. Of course I would be happy to follow along. Things do take much much longer.
This has been a difficult task b/c it turns out that it is difficult to find venue with no attachment to support[masked] attendees. Even bigger cash cow companies are cutting budget to support developer groups like ours.
Like many day time TV drama, we went through various proposals and scenarios. Finally enough is enough. I have to make a quicker decision to make this happen. I am sorry that our Gamification / Game Hack Day will be limiting to a fixed no. of attendees this time. We must put the size under control due to city requirement. Our host Color Lab with $41 Million Dollars VC investment is gracious to host us with their beautiful decorated downtown office in Palo Alto.
You can get breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner or even cocktail by attending this Hack Day. Network with the most active players in this Gamification / Game space. There will be a demo contest in the evening.
So much about apologizing for all these delays. To make up for this inconvenience, I'd like to offer each of you a complimentary conference pass at Silicon Valley China Wireless Conference on 9/23-24 at Computer History of Museum. You can attend my m-commerce session on 9/24 Sat 9:30am about China / US. The least is you can tour the museum and network with the mobile industry. Or talk to me after the session if you would like to volunteer and help us on our Hack Day.
