Speaker:  Lance Nanek, Developer Evangelist at HTC

Experience a technical deep dive on a working NodeJS server written in JavaScript serving JSON to iOS and Android clients! NodeJS is a new technology that scales incredibly well due to its event based architecture. Development is also very fast due to using a modern, dynamic language like JavaScript, although testing is a must to catch things the compiler won't. Learn the advantages and disadvantages and how to wire it up with mobile clients using REST and JSON. * Learn about NodeJS web server development * Learn about providing a back end for mobile clients
