Description
As a Principal Engineer, you will contribute to the overall design and architecture of our platform and device products with primary focus on messaging & collaboration. You will help build high-performance, highly scalable consumer and enterprise client-server software suite on modern device platforms like iPhone, Android, J2ME, Symbian, Windows, etc.

Keys to success:

Strong communication and organizational skills to architect a new platform solution with cross-functional team.
Strong system programming and design skills in server & client side environnment.
Strong debugging skills, ability to organize and write clean and maintainable code.
Passionate to work in an exciting startup environment The candidate should have great capability for critical-thinking
Excellent oral/written English
Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or engineering required
Required Skills & Experience:

Expert in HTML/XHTML/XML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience working on full software development cycle from concept to product deliverables through system deployment
Development experience in highly scalable, 24X7, multi-tier enterprise client and server products
Experience in other web scripting technologies (asp, jsp, php, etc)
Good knowledge of database programming interfaces and database usage - MS SQL, Oracle, or other RDBMS
Good presentation and documentation skills
Basic knowledge of Network technologies - proxy server, Load Balancers, TCP/IP, UDP
Bonus Points for:

Development in the Linux/Solaris environment
Network technologies (proxy servers, load balancers, HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP)
Scalable multi-tier services
Distributed computing
Wireless technologies (WAP, SyncML, IMAP, iMode)
iPhone, Android, WebOS, Windows and Symbian
Familiarity with agile development process a plus
