APWT (Asian Professional Women in Tech) is proud to host an event themed on personal finance management and planning. Given today's economic environment where one can face the breaking-neck price jumping on gasoline, grocery, traveling and kids college education, it is becoming even more imperative to manage one's less-than jumping income from salary and fast-vanishing stock savings. To help understand what are the hot online tools that can help you manage your cash
flow/budget as well as some long term look in the future, Donna Wells of Mint.com and Julia Hsiao, an experienced financial planning advisor, will share their knowledge in these areas.

Donna Wells, Chief Marketing Officer, Mint.com
Donna's applying her twenty years' experience in strategic management and marketing to pursue a personal passion, improving Americans' money intelligence. She joined Mint.com, a venture-backed start-up, in 2007 as Chief Marketing Officer. Mint.com launched with a big win at TechCrunch in September 2007, In its first eight months, Mint.com has managed $10 billion in transactions, and identified $100 million in savings opportunities for it's more than 250,000 users.

Prior to joining Mint.com, Donna led client acquisition/retention, brand-building and product development for organizations ranging from start-ups to global brands - as SVP at Expedia, CMO of myCFO and in senior marketing roles at Intuit, Charles Schwab and American Express. She holds a MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and a BS from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a past Board member of the Financial Women's Association of San Francisco and an Advisory Board member to several web-based businesses.

Julia Hsiao, Principal of Julia Hsiao Financial Services
Julia has been involved in the insurance and financial services business in the Silicon Valley, CA area since 1997. With her extensive knowledge in the areas of financial planning, estate conservation and wealth accumulation, she is frequently invited to speak at various companies and organizations in the Bay Area, most recently at Media Tech and SVCEA. She also published many papers in the topics focused on personal and family long term financial planning and with respect to tax implications.
