I was planning on doing the JMT earlier and got snowed out, my next date id 8-1, do you have a permit?

Hi Sarah, LOL.....it took me awhile to figure out which activity you are referring to. I assume you are talking about Yosemite hike. Am I correct? If yes, what is your plan? Are you planning to drive there in the morning or stay there on Friday night? BTW, aren't you an active one. I thought I was bad.......hiking, cycling, skiing and golf. You guessed right - I am the Steve you met tonight at La Cresta & Viscaino! The group just needed one more hill to feel accomplished before we headed back to Palo Alto and dinner. Hey I will see you sometime on a Ray G mountain bike ride I am sure! Those rides have just been a little wet and muddy for me recently but on a dry day I will be back. In the meantime ... here I am on South Bay & Peninsula leading and participating in rides. So you only have a mtn bike - no road bike? Too bad!

Hi Sarah! This rocks!!! I totally enjoyed the descent along La Cresta - it was awesome and beautiful at night and we werew pumped to think of riding the reverse route UP!(!!) sometime! I was one of the few who realized you were walking towards us - ha! The group was like - hey is that a runner coming? Is it a bike? They were all bike-centric - oh we are on bikes, it must be a bike! Kids. They know nothing! Anyway thanks again for the route idea. Next time I want to try the steep one though!
