Hello! As you may recall I am coordinating volunteers to staff and demo at the Maker Faire in 2 weeks.

We need a few more volunteers to help staff the booth and especially bring laptops and Rifts or especially any DIY HMDs or projects you may be working on.

It'll be a great way to show the public what VR is about. Most people still have not experienced VR first hand and this is a great way to help develop awareness of what we're all so fired up about.

If you're already planning on attending Maker Faire, all we would ask is a short time during Saturday or Sunday to help people try Rift Demos (or other demos), answer basic questions about VR and generally show support for SVVR. If you're willing to contribute significant time to the booth but are tight on funds, we have been granted a few tickets for key volunteers.

And even if you can't volunteer, come by the booth and say hello!

Hi, our group has some really great Oculus Demos that we've been presenting to agencies. Let us know if there's a fit, or interest in seeing what we've been working on here in SF.

Had a great time, as always. My writeup of the Morpheus experience ( may interest some here, and I should have a Jaunt recap in a few days as well. Can't wait for the Expo!

It was great seeing everyone at SVVR #10! The Jaunt team was psyched to share a small glimpse into what we are up to. This community and our friends at all the new VR meet ups are going to make waves.

Now wait for the really fun stuff ... big announcements and a taste of the future to come very soon. :)

Huge thanks to the Sony team for bringing out Morpheus. And ... Karl and Bruce -- you guys rock for making this all happen.

You guys have been a part of the community for so long, it's great that you were finally able to show everyone the awesome work you are all doing at Jaunt. Looking forward to seeing you guys continue to push the boundaries.

Anyone has the promo code for Oculus Rift Dev Kit 2?

      Discount. Of course :)

I've not heard of any discount code for DK-2 (and it's already incredibly cheap for what goes into it).

Great crowd! Realy enjoyed it. No wonder why the meetup is so hard to get in.

Great, as always. The Jaunt talk was amazing, revealing lots of non-obvious implications of the technology. Amir's update was direct, honest and non-marketey. The surprise visit by Sony was also cool and uncovered more tracking lore.

Hello. I'm looking to buy 1-2 broken Rifts for parts for modding purposes. I'm mostly interested in the shell, straps, and tracker. If anyone has a broken Rift just sitting in a box somewhere, and you can't get it exchanged from Oculus because you bought it second-hand, please contact me. Thank you.
