Chris Goodline of Thalmic Labs plans to demonstrate the capabilities of the Myo armband and explore how the device can be used to add an extra layer of immersion within virtual reality environments.
Craig Dalton and Patrick Buckley, co-founders of DODOcase, will be discussing the release and momentum of the DODOcase Google Cardboard VR Kit and a new vision for how user input can be achieved.
Jeremy Sarchet will demonstrate "Flight Vectors", a behind-the-keyboard demonstration of creating of a basic app using a simple yet visceral navigation technique, and in the process, Jeremey will talk about WorldViz Tech and WorldViz Tools for VR developers.
Doors open at 6:30PM. Presentations will start at 7:00PM, followed by open demo time until 10:00PM.
If you have an interesting VR hardware or software project to show off, please consider bringing it along for the open demo portion of the event. You are welcome to show off your own projects or share your favorite demos or applications.
