Since I wasn't willing to go as far as Frederick, MD to scrapbook, I thought it might be worthwhile to start a group in the Silver Spring/College Park area. I am a digital scrapbooker but I have some friends who are traditional scrapbookers and it might be fun to share ideas and do layouts together. I also have an infant son so this can easily turn into a mommy play date thing as well.
The purpose of this group is to have fun cherishing memories. If you are like me, it is also a great time to dust off that box of photos and finally have the satisfaction of a completed project. Ideally, as a group we can become more creative, learn cool techniques, and maybe develop some friendships along the way.
I live in Silver Spring but this group is for any one who is interested in both digital or traditional scrapbooking in the DC metro area.
