SilverStripe Community Meetup

We have another two interesting SilverStripe related talks again from our community.

Talks will start at 6pm after which we'll have some food and drinks along with time to hang out and talk with other local SilverStripe developers.

Come along for the talks, stay for the community and conversations.

6:00pm - A few SilverStripe community notices from Cam

6:05pm Aaron 'UncleCheese' Carlino
SilverStripe community member that needs no introduction! Will be talking about educational resources within the SilverStripe ecosystem and a special announcement.

6:30pm David Craig
Developer from SilverStripe Ltd.
Using SilverStripe to power AngularJS applications. See how to create a basic product catalog using SilverStripe and AngularJS. This will open up thought and ideas around how SilverStripe can be used to power AngularJS applications. A merge of the best of both worlds, exciting new frontend technology alongside a proven backend web framework and CMS.

6:55pm - Delicious food & drinks complements of The Cross and SilverStripe Ltd.

Glad I came along finally -even though I did'nt get there on time!

Cam are there any 'notes'(ahem) available for the talks - especially the session on educational resources. I thought someone mentioned there would be something 'written up' about the talks.

I was expecting a bit more from the talk about the AngularJS + SilverStripe but I'm not throwing in any talks so from this perspective I do appreciate this one too. Good to know that it can work together quite well.

Also thanks for the nice food and drinks!

My perspective: I enjoyed the lecture but was most interested in the limitations described in the q&a at the end. This for me was what I came to hear, so I suppose the only way if could have been better would be a lecture telling the story of a real world application/case study.
