This group offers you an opportunity to come together as African American women in the DC/VA/MD metropolitan area who choose to wear their hair natural and/or women who are transitioning from relax to chemical-free hair. We will celebrate our diversity and beauty through support, respect and sisterly love. We will gather to converse, network and support one another in our quest for chemical-free hair, whether you are considering going natural, just made the big chop, rocking braids, twist, dreads, naturally curly, straight, sisterlocs, Afros OR whatever natural style works best for you!

We host many types of events in the area, in addition to Natural Hair discussions. We do product swaps, movies, dinner, brunch, bowling, game night, concerts, day trips theatre, poetry, self defense classes, karaoke, kick boxing, Zumba and book discussions.
