Saturday Sexy Salsa & Bachata Beginner Workshops & Social Networking Nite

Suitable for participants without any dance background to learn and gain basic foundations in dancing.

We will start at 7:30pm with a 45 minutes basic Salsa workshop with 10 minutes interval, followed at 8:25pm by a 45 minutes Bachata workshop!

Then at 9:10pm, we will turn up the Latin beats and cut loose to your favorite Salsa, Bachata tunes, and more!

Social Networking:

It is a fun-filled evening of social networking and  dancing!

There will be rotation of guys and ladies during the workshop so that everybody will have chance to dance with different partners.

It is an ideal opportunity to meet new friends and build new relationships in a FUN, stress-free setting!

A happy couple learning to dance

Pre-Requisites: No dance experience required. Participants will learn  timing, basic salsa shines(solo footwork) and basic partner work technique

People dance for different reasons: for competition, to keep fit, meet new people, or simply to have a little fun.

SALSA:

It would be terribly remiss to talk about salsa and not address the sexual component of the dance. Salsa is by very definition sexy, steamy and sultry.

BACHATA:

Bachata - both music and dance - began with the lower classes of the Domincan Republic but is now fast gaining in popularity around the world. The sentimental and sensual feel of the music is marked by a bawdy humour that connects the celebration of food, love and a macho delight in elaborating upon the ability of women to overpower men!
