Hi all, we have decided to do the pre-production and casting at one go since many are keen to act and also be involved in the production work. Please read the following. Sorry it is a little long but I am trying to get all the info in...

CASTING

This is the first casting day, you can either come on 6th or 13th Oct.

There are at least 15 roles to be casted for the 2 short films. 1 male lead and 2 female leads for "Heart Flutters" The rest are minor roles, some speaking roles like the heart surgeon and nurse while others are non speaking. As for "Yukoi" it is asilent movie so there are no speaking roles.

If you would like to audition for either of the female leads, your dialogue to memorize is as follows.. (this is not actual dialogue of script)

"I hate the way you talk to me. And the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car. I hate it when you stare I hate your big dumb combat boots. And the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick-- it even makes me rhyme. I hate the way you're always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh -- even worse when you make me cry. I hate it that you're not around. And the fact that you didnt call. But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you - - not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all."

The male dialogue to memorize is...

"She left a note. Did you know that? [Pause.]She left a note that she was doing it for me. [Pause.]For me. Because she knew I didn’t want her anymore. [Pause.]What’s horrible is it was true. I didn’t want her. I was ready to walk away and she knew it. I was gonna wash my hands of the whole damn thing—find some sane girl and start over—someone who didn’t play mind games all the time—someone who didn’t question my every motive—someone who didn’t scare the hell out of me. You know, there were times I was actually afraid she might kill me. My own wife. I was afraid she might poison the milk or stick me with a steak knife in the middle of the night. Honest to god. I was afraid to go to sleep."

You can either memorize it and come down for the audition. We will have a camera on standby. If you can't make it on both days, you may take a phone video of yourself acting out those lines and send it to us at [masked] You can also forward all enquiries here.

PRODUCTION CREW

We have identified those who came for previous meetings in their relative categories. You can see that we still need a lot of people to fill up those positions. Since this is a passion, it is alright to have more than one person in some of the roles so that we have a smooth shoot when certain people cannot make it. Please indicate your interest or skill if you have experience. If you have no skills but plenty of passion, just put yourself in as a production assistant. We will then delegate you a task.

This is a passion group so we do not get paid for our contribution. What we get is lots of experience, fun, a listing in IMDB and be part of a really nice and warm group of people. But since we are trying to make good films to enter film festivals,if we happen to win any monetary prizes, we will distribute the winnings less a set aside fund for future projects, expenses and according to level of participation.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
