60 Pasir Ris Drive 3, Singapore 519497, Singapore
This is a cycling training by GP Riders especially for those who are joining some of us for the 'Ride For Rations 2013' event on 5 July. However, those who are not joining 'Ride For Rations' can also join us too.
I am one of the members of social cycling group, GP Riders and we are based at Aranda Country Club. GP actually means Goreng Pisang, which is a Malay phrase for 'fried banana', one of our local snack food.
We will roll off at Aranda Country Club at about 0700 hrs, we can wait for a while for some later comers and when ready, we will head to Loyang, Changi Coastal Road and to West Coast. We will then make an U-turn and stop at Fort Road for breakfast before returning to Aranda Club.
You have to bring your own bike, preferably a roadie, if not at least a hybrid. We will cycle mostly on road and to tag each other in one single file. You have to have some cycling experience on road and the total distance is about 100 km. We will have a sweeper throughout, ensuring everyone of us is safe and of course, we have to observe all safety procedures while on road.
