A very interesting debate, and all the better for covering similar ground as a meeting earlier in the year. This time we clarified that there is an important difference between individual choice and individual self-interest, and it was for the former that the main argument was made. There was considerable support for the view that individuals necessarily make individual choices, and further that some actions can be accepted as in the interests of others (perhaps not the majority of actions).
