Update for all! Found 2 more kitchens just in case. One is called Expat Kitchen at Little India area. Another is Shermay's Kitchen at Holland V.
As to why I am looking for more kitchens is on the off chance that we can find one which can hold more people at a comfortable price so we can have the best for everyone!
I try to confirm place and time by this week!
Food-wise, now we have
1) Vietnamese crab spring roll
2) Thai Seafood Vermicelli Salad
3) Indian food (Chicken curry/paneer/snacks)
I can buy the ingredients or we can take some time to do buy them together as well. Which do you prefer?

Sorry for the absence! It has been on my mind!
As you can see, venue fixed, out of my convenience to set that aside as soon as I can.
Trying to fix the price now for everyone. Aiming for $35/pax but not confirmed!
Just a heads up, I will have to collect the charge, once set, from those who have RSVP-ed here by 22nd Feb 2013. After which, the meetup will be open to the waiting list and those not on the list until we reach 28pax. The last leg of collection will end 28th Feb to give me a the next 2 days to prep the ingredients and what not.
To be as fair as we can, those who are unable to make the meet up please RSVP as NO so as to allow others a better chance. Thanks!

actually if you all don't mind, I can rent a space for a whole afternoon or morning for 350 bucks. kitchen is basic but functional, def can fry spring rolls. but they have a super awesome bbq setup and can def hold at least 30 people, more if needed. if everyone is ok with chipping in 35 bucks each, we can easily cover food and drink costs. the space is on hindoo road near jln besar.
i suppose this way, it won't be so much a cooking class but rather cooking together. may work as a first meetup to get to know one another. i can do the prep for the bbq and the purchasing for the other dishes, just lemme know what's needed.
how does 24th feb or 3rd march sound? sunday from 2pm onwards so we can eat by around 6pm.
just suggesting. if we have concrete dates to work around, might make things happen faster :)
