So we're going to try something a little different for the month of May, and introduce Quantified Self to the good people of Barcamp.
A Barcamp is an 'unconference' - an open, participatory workshop, the content of which is provided by participants. Y'know, pretty much like us.
The date is set for 12th May, but the rest of the schedule won't be pinned down until the day. I say we should head down in the morning and plan to lead a couple of sessions from 11:30 onwards.
Because things are subject to change, besides RSVPing on Meetup, can you sign up for updates at the BarcampSG site here?
I'm thinking about repackaging my Intro to QS talk in the Ignite format - 20 slides in 5 minutes. That should be a challenge!
Ben will be doing a talk on tracking his weight and the correlations between other factors like sleep and alcohol. He's done some great number-crunching, so I'm excited to hear about it in detail.
It would be great if we had another speaker, so feel free to volunteer yourself.
Anyways, hope this piques your interest and I hope to see some, nay, all of you at Barcamp in a couple of weeks!
p.s. In the spirit of Barcamp, this meetup is editable - I'm not sure how it works, but you should be able to add to or change the information listed here. If you have something useful to add - please go ahead!
