The full house, jumping dance floor, smiling faces and cheers of musical appreciation along with a successful night for the VCP Meetup, our favorite club and The Blues says it all!

The band was Upper Strata and Jonathan Sanchez. We have another Showcase tentively scheduled for March 3rd and Upper Strata will be appearing as a band with a drummer. Keep and eye out for a meetup :-)

Good. I enjoyed it but had to leave about 10:30. Do they ever start earlier?

      Max,
Thank You so much for joining in on the fun! 8pm seems to be the work the best for most. 7pm might be doable. We just try to factor in the average VCP getting off work at 5ish and having time to drive home, eat dinner, change clothes etc and get to the RR by 8pm. I am considering Sunday Showcase where we could have an earlier start time. We are always open to suggestions to make our mettups even better!

      See you soon!

This meetup was such a blast. We really need to do another showcase but it has to be on the weekend. I work nights during the week I took it off for my birthday this week. It was so worth it. Thank you so much John! It was a pleasure meeting you and you made my birthday truly memorable.

They rarely have a showcase on a weekend. It's more a try out for the prime weekend gigs. Plus, there's a nice weeknight vib going on that's different. It's a good alternative.

Thanks for celebrating your birthday with us...it was a blast. In the past we have had the showcase on Sundays but have moved the day around. Actually this Thursday worked out quite well. Between Meetups, Facebook and word of mouth we a a full house. Depending on the day of the week and the entertainment you have a nice variety vibes. From Soul Power to the Sugar Thieves there is a little something for everyone. Variety is the spice of life after all.

Still a bit too much of a dive for my tastes (hasn't changed in 100 years, and I think they still have the original bar stools, eeewww). BUT, I had a fantastic time dancing and flirting--good sized dancefloor. And I'll probably go again Saturday!

They actually paved the parking lot, expanded the patio, and beefed up the A/C in the past five years. The rest should never change!

Thanks so much for coming out, I'm glad the music was able to provide the backdrop for some fantastic dancing and flirting!
