Single Christian Volunteers provides opportunities for single persons to serve God by serving others. Share your time and care, while meeting and mingling with other single Christians.
We strive to give back to the community by way of onsite services at local nonprofit organizations, churches, and outreach programs (Food Outreach, church soup kitchens, shelter food pantries), as well as participation in local fundraiser events (trivia nights, charity walks/runs, etc.).
Make a difference, get involved, and better the lives of many, if not just one. Don't wait until you have extra time to volunteer; it will never happen. Commit to a community service project first, and let everything else for that day come second: the personal and spiritual reward is much greater!

Lydia's House provides long-term transitional housing as well as comprehensive support services to women and children who have been victims of domestic violence.
They often often have groups that come on a set date and work for one day on the facilities - light painting, organizing, cleaning, etc. It has yet to be determined at this point what specifically we will be doing. More details to come as the date gets closer. Read more
