This Meetup is intended for single adults (over 21) who are interested in becoming licensed foster care providers, or who already are. I intend to create a micro-community of like-minded young people who want to make the world a better place for a child in need, but may be hesitant because they are single and don’t feel that they have the support system necessary to be successful.

I'm just starting the application and certification process myself, and would love to have others to go through the process with. We can create our own support system and help each other out. We can even go through the certification classes together. Once certified, we can help each other out with babysitting, or do things together with our foster children. We can share resources, supplies, ideas and provide emotional support.
