8th Annual Papa Carl's Jam for Life *NINE BANDS* Benefiting TRANSPLANT FAMILIES

Let's get together to listen to great bands, eat and dance for a incredibly great cause:

The 8th Annual Papa Carl’s Jam for Life. This year the Jam will benefit the Gift of Life Family House ‘Adopt a Family Program’ . This fund helps patients and families while they are going through the transplant process. This can be a very difficult and trying time for many families. The financial impact of a catastrophic illness can be very severe. We can directly come to the aide of these families. Please come on out for a great afternoon of live music. There will be special pizza and other items on the menu

Entry/donation is $20

email excerpt from "Papa" Carl:

I promise it will be a great show. The finale act will be Jimmy and the Parrots and they will play for about an hour. Before them you will have a once only appearance of Ernie White, Joe Zook and Paul Plumeri as an acoustic guitar trio. These guys are as good as it gets individually and to have them together “in the raw” so to speak with acoustic guitars is going to really rock the place, this is something folks won’t see again soon. Lisa Bouchelle will go on before the Trio and she is the Rock Star Kitchen Girl and will play with her touring band. Lisa has been a fixture at the Jam for Life from the very beginning. Lisa even helped create the concept and idea when she was the performer in my backyard at the very first Jam for Life, which was a party to thank all the people who helped me through the whole transplant period. This event will be for the benefit of The Gift of Life Family House “Adopt a Family Fund.” This provides assistance to families who are having trouble while staying at the Family House. This can be a very hard time in people’s lives. This fund will provide money for essentials that some just can not afford. The other night I was visiting at the Family House and met a couple using the room our Foundation built. It was truly an amazing experience to get to know some very grateful folks who have gone through a very tough ordeal.
