A travel idea, for us girls. How was this idea born? Well, my girl friends are either married, tying the knot, or having gorgeous babies. I still dont want to do either of the three. I have been traveling for 12 years, I have visited place such as Vietnam, Turkey, Russia, Panama, Argentina many more... But now i am find myself wanting to travel with girl friends and I thought what better idea then travel with new girls and make amazing friends on the way. My mode of travel? Cruise, Resort, occasionally i will do quick trips to New York, FLorida or Vegas for a weekend or so. My favorite mode of travel? Cruises. Why? Hassle free. I do travel overseas once every year or two..And this years happens to be one of those years, I can already tell you I am planning to go to Thailand for a month for Muay Thai training, not knowing anyone and not speaking the language! So this space is dedicated to all those singles girls who like me love to travel and have an adventerous spirit, whether its a day trip or month. So, my plan is to start the group, and hold a meet and greet in about a month and see where things go..I hope you join me and lets explore the world, a lot to see, do and people to meet. I will be posting travel ideas, prices . If you are from out of state, dont worry, you are more than welcome to meet us half-way.

FAQs

I am getting so many great emails from so many girls, i wil answer a few here, for future members
Are there any age limit for this group?
No, all that matters is that you  have a young spirit.

When will i be posting prices and how and when deposit or and full payment is required?
I had a meeting with a great agency  today to take care of the payments, so you all can rest assure a reputable agency will handle payments and things of that sort. There will be a 50.00$ cancellation fee, cruise line and other travel agencies have their own policies as well so keep this in mind! you wil be getting phone number and contact info when you RSVP for it.

What if some of the trips do not have enought people?
As i am getting to know this part of the group process, and trying to experiment and testing things out. I decided that for a given trip if there arent enough girl i will ''de-activate " a meet-up event.

I am married but often travel alone while husband works?
Thats fine too, i dont really have any type of restrictions.

I love to get together with girls and explore, but dont often have the financial means to do so?
It was my intention when i started the group to just focus on trips on cruises, resort, eco-tourism things like that. But i will keep the day trips, see how that goes, for the girls who still want to travel within the confines of your state.

Will i always be present on each trip? Probably not, since it will near to impossible to attend day trips, and all the trips, but i will assining a Single Girls Travel member to take over for that specific trip if they would like and anyone will have this chance, for the times i cant make it. And of course you will travel with single girls as a group.

What does RSPV means and few other serious things? When your RSVP please be respectful of this useful tool, if you do not intend to participate on a trip event, do not RSVP, this is disrepectful to those girls who purchased a ticket. My intention for this group was for girls to find other single girls to travel with, plan trips and have fun, knowing that the members on this group are trust worthy and I can only achieve this with your help. And due to a recent experience with one of the trips and to weed out those who RSVP for the sake of it, meet-up event will be subject to a minimal fee payable to the event Organizer this fees may vary based on the event and non-refundable.  I invest a lot of time and money to run this meet up site, and is not fair that some member use this plattaform as play ground. If you do not agree with the fee simply pass on the event.

If you become a Trip Diva please do not cancel a trip you suggested is not fair to the girls who are expecting you there.

Any trip that is suggested by a member and not organized by me with the help of the agency i chose to work with will not be my responsability in any way shape or form, please do your research, best thing to do, is have a trip idea, send it to me and we can work it out thru the agency, i find girls are much more willing to book if they are either out of state or not able to meet with the Trip Diva if they know they are working with a reputable agency. Keep in mind i receive many emails every day, i am starting to get a feeling for those who email for the sake of it. When you email specify date, time, place you want to visit an a phone number to call you. Without this i will not research, this is just to weed out those who email for the sake of it.

In signing up with any of these trips you agree to hold this meetup group and its agencies and organizer harmless for any and all liabiliites incurred during your trip. Our meet-up group, its member and the agency are not responsible for any accidents , losses or any problems before, during or after your trip.

For the potential Trip Divas, just having a paypal account for girls to send money thru doesnt cut it, you have to put in the time, meeting with them, doing presentation ect. this idea actually came from one of the members. She is leading her trip, and committed to doing presentations. For this follow-up meet ups i will not charge, if you already paid a fee for the event thru meet-up for that trip i know more than sure that you are serious, and the Trip Diva wont waste her time traveling to any given place, and have only two show up out 21  RSVPd for it. 

Once we have enough girl for any given trip, how are you going to pair up girls? You will have the opportunity to reserve a single occupancy (often expensive). So at time of reserving you will be pair up at random unless you specifcally have another Single Girls Travel member traveling with you.

Please, feel free to suggest trip ideas, i am always on the look out for something fun different, out of the ordinary, you will be the official Trip Diva for that trip, please have all the info necessary for that trip, links to it, dates, wher to, airfare, hotels names. I will not post your ideas if they are vague ideas. If you have an idea and do not know how to get it started we can work it thru the agency i chose to work with.

Please bear in mind this group is in its experimental phase, I am learning what work and doesnt work, it is my hope that this group grows and that girls and travel together and have an amazing time . I think this all i have for now, as come accross other experiences with handleing the group i will probably be posting more :)
