Friday Night Out in St. Paul for a Great Cause

Let's get together for live music and a silent auction at a really cool St. Paul spot, O'Gara's. There is a suggested donation of $10 for the event, the proceeds go to Families Helping Each Other.
Families Helping Each Other is an organization devoted to giving household goods and items of personal property to families in need. They collect such good and then redistribute the items from their warehouse in St. Paul. Below is a note from the organizer, Julia Sonnen.

As many of you already know, three years ago, I founded and currently run a 501(c)(3) non profit organization in St Paul called Families Helping Each Other(FHEO). We help struggling families with basic necessities and we have seminars that empower them to go from surviving to thriving.
We are having a fundraising event on Feb. 22 at O'Garas Bar & Grill in St Paul from 6pm to 10pm. There will be lots of door prizes, live band, an amazing silent auction, great people to meet/network with and lots of laughing and fun! Suggested donation is $10.00 for FHEO. If you bring a bag of your unwanted clothing/shoes for families in need, you will be entered into a special drawing! I am asking for your support by attending the fundraiser. I would really appreciate it to see each of you there! If you would like to donate something for the silent auction or as a door prize, or if your company/business would like to a sponsor for the event, please message me.

I've been looking for an event that didn't conflict with my schedule to get back with the group. Had a sudden change, and this looks like a great event - as long as the snow lets up. I've got a bag of clothes I can bring. Holding off on the yes button for now until I see how the drive home goes.

Hey crew. I just heard from Julia that they are only taking clothes and shoes on Friday. If you have other items, you can drop it off at their warehouse in St. Paul. Google families helping each other for the address. My friend Kristin will join us on Friday. She is a riot. Can't wait!!
