This was a great activity during a rainy day. I was concerned with what we were going to do today, but I had a hard time pulling my daughter away from the Art Explorium.

Ok, I think it is time cancel this even due to weather.

Hmmm, don't have access to anyplace with shelters on this side of the island. Best option would be to cancel if it stays this wet. Let's wait until noon to make that determination. I am getting yours and Jon's texts, but have no way to reach Felix. Hope he checks this board.

Letʻs just pack our own lunches and just bring snacks to share. We can throw a blanket on the ground for a good old fashioned picnic. We can have the kids do a couple of group games to get used to eachother and then let them just run and play on the swings while we adults relax and chat while keeping an eye on things.

Aloha friends. Thank you for hosting this. We will be attending, but will most likely be there around 3:30 as my daughter gets out of school at 2:30. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hi All, Jake and I will still be there, however, we are attending a Chinese New Year lunch at the cultural center, so we would have already eaten by the time we get there. I will try to pick up or bring some kind of treat for the kids.

Welcome back. We'll see you and the kids on the 1st!

Aloha, everyone! Glad to be back for a quick second (leaving again early Feb). Own lunches seems reasonable, if no one else signs up anytime soon....
Swimming sounds fun -- be advised all kids entering the pool without adults physically in the pool must pass a 'basic swimming' skills test before they can get in, and only one small area is reserved for anything other than 'lap swimming' there (personal experience).

Okay, I'll ask and see if they have something without peanut oil. I don't cook so I will be buying. If only us three families will be there, we may want to consider just packing our own lunches.

Good idea, we will bring swimming things too. Havenʻt decided what to bring, might try making some gluten-free dim sum. Teddy has a peanut allergy so if the Chinese noodles are not homemade can you ask about peanut oil. They donʻt need to be peanut free, just want to know so that Teddy doesnʻt eat something he shouldnʻt and then barf everywhere.

I'll check if the kids can go swimming. I can bring Chinese noodles.
