Networking with other families can be challenging for single parents. There are some great single parent groups here, but many are geared for either teens or infant playgroups, and participating can be tricky if you have a 10 year old and a 4 year old, for example. And as we all know, finding fun activities that incorporate different ages is a balancing act, and doing so without adult companionship can be exhausting.
The purpose of this group is to give single parents and their kids a place and time to have some fun, providing the kids with consistent friendships, and parents with some much needed adult conversation!
It may be letting the kids play, swim, and throw a frisbee at a state park, fishing around a pond, going out for pizza and then a kids movie, or a group trip to a nature center. If you're a single parent on the lookout for things to do as fall and winter approach, this may be for you!
Let's all pool some great ideas together!!
Please note : You don't NEED TO HAVE muti- age kids - any kids are fine!
