My name is Candice. I am a fun, kind, energetic, with a big laugh and an even bigger heart. I'm a combination of homebody and adventurer, open to trying anything once. Not a sports lover but I will ocassionally watch a game or two.

My Monday thru Friday job is what pays the bills even though my job is rewarding my heart is somewhere else. I have a knack for planning events. I just started my own event planning company! Hoping and praying it takes off! I am 27, No kids and single.

What city/town are you from?

Originally from Atlanta, But I have been in Boston for the last 13 years. I live in Randolph currently.

What do you like to to on a Friday or Saturday night?

On typical Friday night I like to unwind from a stressful work week. I typically grab a bottle of wine or go out for drinks. Saturday nights I like to go out and have dinner with friends or do movie night with my brother and his girlfriend. Every once in a blue moon I like to hit a club or lounge.

This is a group for women of color south of Boston ages (21-35). This group was created for single women south of Boston who are finding themselves slowly growing apart from so called "friends". This group will meet twice a month and will do activities that are empowering, encouraging, and uplifiting. Generally as women we tend to judge each other and/or compare ourselves to each other; however this group promotes comradery among women. So, if you are an independent, confident (not stuck up) single sistah south of Boston interested in meeting other like-minded single women of color, who are comfortable with who you are and want to try new activities while making new friends; and if any of the below activities sound good to you, then this group is for you!

-Nightclubs/Bars/Lounges
- Billiards
- Bowling
- Weekend Festivals
- Celtics/Patriots/Red Sox games
- Movies, Concerts, Restaurants
- Random sports games (MNF, College Football/Basketball, NFL/NBA Playoffs, etc.)
- Anything else that sounds fun

As most of you know, starting a meetup group is not free...

Organizers pay to keep a group going, they set up events on the home page, they host these events, they facilitate people socializing with each other, they occasionally have to deal with a crazy member, and they are committed to the group whether one member attends an event or 30.

The dues for each member will only be $2 per person each calendar year beginning November 15th, 2011. The $2 will be due on the day of the first meetup you attend beginning November 15, 2011 and occuring yearly. I will keep a spreadsheet to keep track of those who have paid and will give reciepts.

Furthermore, since this is a Meetup group, inactive members who have never been to a meetup thus never paid dues will be removed from the group. If you miss 4 consecutive meetups it may be time to rethink if this group is for you.

Anyone who joins this group MUST be at least 21 years old!!! The meetups we have will be for the 21+ crowd. While joining this group is easy ; If we find that you are under 21 you will be REMOVED from the group.

A profile picture of yourself is needed!! When we have meetups, We need to know what you look like. We can't look for someone we have never seen before!

Any group member can plan a meetup!! Unlike other groups the input of every member is valued and expected.
