Help Christmas in the City set up

What you will be doing: These are new positions so to some extent your group will be defining what is involved. At a minimum we need people to help direct hundreds of volunteers working in an enormous facility, keeping them from wondering aimlessly looking for what they should be doing. In addition to that effort, which will help us out a lot, they will likely be overseeing groups of volunteers doing set up, both in Winter Wonderland Land and the Toy room and may be doing some of the set up tasks, as needed. Also we will have the group helping with the preparation of the signage we will need for Sunday and placing that signage where it needs to be. They will likely be called upon to help configure the tables and booths in the main hall in preparation for the party

    Valet Parking:

Valet parking ($25) is available during most events. To access from Summer Street, turn onto East Side Drive and the valet area will be immediately on your right. We accept cash and all major credit cards.

    BCEC South Parking Lot:

To self-park in the BCEC South Lot, from Summer Street, turn onto East Side Drive, drive past the valet area, and continue straight along the side of the building. At the end of the building, make a right and go down the ramp. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left and you will see the entrance to the South Parking lot in front of you. Parking rates are $15 for regular sized vehicles and $30 for oversized vehicles.

Please note: Parking is limited at the BCEC and is available on a first come, first served basis. On certain events if the South Lot is full, attendees may be directed to an offsite parking lot and be charged the same rates as the South Lot.

    Alternate Parking

Id like to help out with this event, but I would be coming from Rhode Island, is there an area to park my car and take the T? Or is it better just to drive to Boston and park?

Do You Think We As A Group Could Be As Well Organized As It Was At Your Salvation Army Event? That Was Amazingly Efficient!

Is there a parking area or a way to use the t?

    December 3, 2013

    • Bob T.

There are parking meters or a parking garage. There is no validated parking. The Silver Line goes there. A short walk from the station to the Convention Center.

      December 3, 2013

    • Charles

The Silver Line goes right to the Convention Center, literally downstairs. Great option.
