I'm so new to all of this but need support or to just be with people who won't say things like " better you knew now than 10 more years down the road". My personal fav is " you should just forget him and focus on you"
If I knew how to forget our 10 year marriage ......I wouldn't need support :(

I'm 41 and looking to get myself out into social events. I refuse to retreat to my bedroom eating pizza and chocolate hohos. I'm normally pretty shy. Some days are great, some good, others just gut wrenching awful.

Look forward to meeting all of you!

We all have habits. Some good, some not-so-good. What does this have to do with separating and divorce? Some of our habits might be related to how we deal with traumatic situations we encounter. Automatic reactions that are understandable, but may be working against us. Some habits we'd like to keep and some that would be better if they changed. It has been said that people cannot break old habits. Maybe something about them can be changed, though. In our meeting, we will discuss habits, dissect them and see if we can make their power work for us, rather than against us. I suggested this topic to our coordinator, last year, and she asked if I would be interested in presenting it. I accepted, and presented it in November, 2012. Now I have the opportunity to present it for your group. I look forward to seeing you there.
