I recall negotiating which parents my ex-wife and I would spend holidays with, back when I was married. Is it any wonder there are difficulties doing the same with our own children AND their grandparents after a split. The stakes are exponentially higher for holidays compared to standard visitations. What a test for our fledgling skills of clearer communication and boundary setting, right? Attend our meeting and see what can be learned to make holiday time a little less stressful. Take it from me, subsequent holidays become less and less stressful, as we learn the value of boundaries and clear communicating.
