Ambivalence

This week, Coordinator Kathy Sirota, LCSW-C, will lead a group discussion on Ambivalence. Following our discussion there will be small group break out session.

Newcomers please join us at 7:00 PM

Social hang-out and and set-up 7:00 PM

Regular meeting to start at 7:30 PM

Resolving ambivalence involves an emotional separation. We disengage psychologically from our “ex”.  We gain a sense of freedom from our past……the part of the past that hurts.  It takes emotional creativity and time to accept the loss of a partner and the issues that surrounded the loss.  It takes willingness to change.  Who are we now and who are we to become?  It takes courage to grow into a new person…..to risk the unknown.  But here you are already taking risks.  Come join us for support to risk being all of who you are and will become.

It was very helpful to hear all the experiences people have with ambivalence.

I felt like I had a lot in common with other group members and their insights were very helpful to me.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
