A culturally-diverse coalition, Single Parents and Children United group is composed of representatives of single parents that went through a separation/divorce, parents of adoptive children, parents of children coming from different families, single parents that found partners in other single parents groups, etc. For our group is critical to consider varied opinions or beliefs within a certain culture. Two people do not have the same opinions because they are both native Americans or from the same culture.

This group is our opportunity to help each other out, simply have fun or find someone who understands.  Some of our events are parents only, some are for the entire family, and others get a bit specific with the age range that will best suit the activity. Events are hosted by volunteer organizers so they tend to cluster in areas around active members. If you wish to see more events in your area please start organizing for us! What you will get from the group will have a direct correlation to the energy you put into it. We hope you will help us out by organizing at least one event per year, and please, help us by thanking those who organize more than one. These are the people who make this group something special. This group is a democratic group and the Organizer only created this group but you all are the ones to decide what you want this group to be.
