Hike Palo Alto Baylands 1A (3 hour hike, level)

Sun Dec 30 Palo Alto Baylands (From San Antonio Rd) 1A, 1:30 PM. This is an after lunch hike. A 3 hour walk, stopping to look at shore birds and wildlife, returning in time to pick up stuff for the potluck. Directions: From Hwy 101, take San Antonio Road N to R on Terminal Blvd & park. Larry Stafford is acting as the organizer for the Singleaires and shows up on all the listings of this group. We suggest that you contact the actual hike leaders (see description above) to tell them you are coming or for more information.

GUESTS are always welcome (singles or married). This hike usually has about 6 to 15 of our regular members who's names will not show in the "who's coming" bar.

CARPOOLS: Carpools are volunteer meetings, if you find no one else going to your hike you may have to drive yourself there. The Sierra Club does not have insurance for and assumes no liability for Carpooling arrangements. Ride sharing or anything similar is strictly a private arrangement among the participants who assume the risks associated with this travel. To cover drivers' expenses, it is suggested that the rider's contribution be 10 cents per mile.
