ABOUT SINGLES' BEAT

This group emerged from a desire to provide a variety of tasteful and diverse venues for quality singles, in which to interact and mingle. An organized and happening atmosphere in a great location/setting lends itself to having a great time. This group is designed to offer singles, aged 35 - 55, a number of venues in which to get together and have a blast while increasing the odds of finding a special someone. There will be hikes, biking, cooking parties, relationship classes, dining, dancing, sailing, bowling, live band shows, wine tasting, picnics, barbecues and more. The goal is to have weekly events, with extra special events for the holidays, i.e. boat charters, private cocktail parties, etc. This should keep everyone busy. wink.

Attractive, classy, fit, prosperous and successful singles, who are healthy in mind and spirit, who get that they create their own life experience and who set out to make it a wonderful journey.....are welcome to join. Please post a close up forward facing face shot (no sunglasses or caps) for your main pic.  It's requested but optional that you post at least 2 other photos.  Keep the pictures in good taste.

YOUR MEMBERSHIP
We want you to make the most of your membership, so please be active and sign up regularly for events. We'd like to get to know you. Make sure you RSVP to all our events to let us know whether or not you are coming. If you do RSVP "Yes" and you don't show on 2 occasions, you will be asked to drop your membership. Remember enough no shows has an affect on our event, especially with regards to our arrangements with the venues. At events, please be courteous, order at least one item, whether it's a drink, appetizer, etc. and be generous in your tipping. Let's leave them with a good impression of our group and make sure we get asked back! Thanks.

There is a $25.00 membership fee that is due 60 days from becoming a member, when you have decided to continue your membership. In the future, an annual RENEWAL membership fee may be due, but it will be kept nominal, about half of the initial fee.

WHAT THE MEMBERSHIP FEE IS FOR
As in any business or organization, there are costs associated with the ongoing maintenance, operations and management. In order to be successful, Singles' Beat should be run like an organized and professional business and maintain quality and high customer satisfaction. In an effort to ensure the continued success, exclusivity and growth of this group, a membership fee is necessary. Singles group members are notorious for signing up for several groups, without actually intending to participate as an active member. We want to ensure that a member is serious about getting the most out of their membership. We want to see you around!

Another reason for our membership fee is incurred costs. In addition to the monthly subscription fee for the website, we have the cost of business cards, photocopying and stationary. Singles Beat will sometimes be required to front deposits and pay minimum or shortage guarantees for our events. And perhaps the most significant cost is ..... TIME! As Organizer of Singles' Beat, there is a huge responsibility for a host of things on a day to day basis.

- Maintaining the website
- Marketing Singles' Beat, membership recruiting and the review and approval of new members;
- Negotiating new venues and coordinating our events and calendar
- Hosting and the taking and uploading of pictures at our events;
- Responding to emails regarding ideas, suggestions, questions

All this to keep your weekly/monthly social calendar fun, exciting and full of options!
