Blues, Laughs & Arts Festival + Markets @Waterfront City, Docklands

The Docklands Arts, Laughs & Blues Festival, - 6 days of Blues music, cabaret , theatre, arts & laughs

Meeting Point will be at James Squire @Docklands which is last bar/restaurant, at the end of the Waterfront City precinct (towards the City Link Bridge) My ph[masked]

Meet in the outside terrace area 12-12.30. Then from 12:30, explore the market, the art spaces & watch & listen the bands yourselves, in smaller groups. Will re- meet near one of the stages. (I will co-ordinate, not host - difficult hosting outdoor events like these).

The Food Court is an dynamic new arts space for exhibitions, performances, workshops, projects & wi-fi enabled social space. Situated in an abandoned food court, artists have transformed the space into a multi-use arts venue and exhibition and events space.

TRAMS TO WATERFRONT CITY Take any of these trams to stop D11 (last stop), Waterfront City Docklands (Physical address is 434 Docklands Bvd). Google map

#86 tram travels along Bourke St & Spencer St then Latrobe St west, to Waterfront City, Docklands

(If travelling by train first, a tram stop for #86 is opposite Southern Cross Station on Bourke St)

#70 tram travels along Flinders St & Docklands Boulevard To Waterfront City

#35 Tram Clockwise direction (the free city circle tram) travels along Flinders St To Waterfront City

#35 Tram Anti Clockwise direction travels along Latrobe St to Waterfront City

James Squire is at 16-17, 439 Docklands Drive, (Waterside Promenade) Waterfront City, Docklands. {map}

Walking: it’s about a 20 minute walk from Southern Cross station. Walk towards Docklands, then past Ettihad Staduim & then along past the New Quay area (following the waterside promenade)

Parking: At HarbourTown, (off Docklands Bvd) Google map MEL REF 2E D3. (HarbourTown best option but some free limited street parking is available in a few other areas)

1st hour $2, then a flat rate (for rest of duration) of $6.

Entry to both Car Parks is off Footscray Rd, or Docklands Drive.

The North Car Park which is located on Waterfront Way has 2,225 parking spaces.

The West Car Park which is located on Pearl River Road has 663 parking spaces.
