Hey there,

Welcome to my Meetup group. I was on POF a couple of times and heard the same story from many girls. They found that most of the guys on there are either already in relationships, or just multiple daters, and it was hard to find one that really was looking for a long term relationship. Of course, there were also many girls that said that they didn't even recognize the guy in person because he looked 20 years older.

Well, after hearing these things again and again, I decided to create this Meetup group to bring together good quality singles (guys and girls 25-40 y/o) who are looking for long-term relationships giving them a chance to get to know each other off-line and in person. People who are serious about looking for that right person, not that right now person. I will be planning events such as dinners, nights out dancing, theater, sports activities, and I'm always open to suggestions of other activities that the group would like to do.

So who should join this group? Anyone who is in that stage of their life that they are serious about finding that special someone to complete their life (ie. settling down).

I would like to get the Meetups started soon, so once we have enough members I'll set up a date / time / location.

One more thing, if anyone is interested in co-organizing this Meetup with me, then please let me know.

UPDATE Oct 19th, 2011:

I have had a couple of people indicate to me that they were a couple of years over the age cut-off and whether it's okay. In my opinion, +- 2-3 years doesn't make a difference. What matters more is whether you are a good person or not, and here for the right reasons.
