Wanted to join because the group seems to have a variety of events that I'm interested in and would love to meet like minded people.
Hi Ana, Welcome to the DPA DC Meetup Group. I look forward to seeing you at future Meetups. All the best, Vincent
Ana! It was so great to meet you last week...when's your next meetup?!
Glad you like the idea- I've been car hunting and working weekend- plus moved to Frederick- but things are starting to clear up. No work for a couple months and I am done with the move. Have a great week, Ana!
I wish I could have come- every once in a while I have to work weekends and this is one of them. Were you at the Thai place? I liked the food there. I am thinking of having a dinner meet-up at my place soon. Small group- I'll let you know. Have a great Saturday!
Hey, Ana- how are ya? Was that you at the foundry and afterparty? I hope I can come to the next one.
Hey- you DID give me directions! I just took 16th north and it took me rght up to 495 easy- I'll keep my eye open for volunteer events- Great to finally meet you and the group-
Hi there- TAmpa? I was born there and that is where I am going this weekend. I"ll pick up my son and go to Anna Maria. How long has your family been headed there? Do you plan on going to Tampa anytime soon? I lived there several times- birth to 2, 5-18, 25-28, then recently, 2001-2007. I don't think I could ever live there again. The traffic is horrendous and there is no public transit. I can't take the heat like I used to. But i like visiting. Well, have a great weekend!
That is a good idea. I am looking forward to the meet up at the end of April. I am in the process of moving to Mont Co but for now its a hike from Hagerstown :( Im out of town this weekend but the next few I'll be around. I'll look for a meet up earlier in the month. What other meet-ups are you active in?
Ana-well there are several meetups that look interesting to me in the future. I am usually free for Friday through Tuesday meetups unless I go out of town. I rsvp'ed for 1 1/2 so far (one MOnday dinner and a Thursday happy hour that I may not be able to but will try to attend. I'm not so much into the bar scene. I like activities- although dinner is a bit formal and restricted for first meetings. Parties are great- movies are terrible so are plays and concerts, although great for couples:)
