Join me this Sunday for an impromptu, casual Meetup at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, where we will view "The Guerrilla Girls Talk Back."
The Guerrilla Girls, a group of anonymous artist-activists, critique the sexism and racism pervading contemporary culture. Through their populist art production, which includes posters, books, and live performances in which they wear gorilla masks, the group raises awareness about discrimination.
Please note that although there are 70 works on display, this is a small, one-room exhibition.
On Sunday, August 7, admission to the National Museum of Women in the Arts is free. Afterwards, we will head over to nearby Cafe Mozart for beers! (German food also available.)
Where: National Museum of Women in the Arts
1250 New York Avenue, NW, Washington DC
When: Sunday, August 7 @ 4 PM
