Eddie Money - Rock icon Eddie Money will perform for the first time at this year’s Love-In Party in the Park with an all-star band! Money began his career in the late 1970s and the early days of MTV and music videos launched him into stardom. He is an accomplished musician who sings, writes, plays the saxophone, harmonica and piano. He has recorded over a dozen albums of his own (selling over 28 million records), and has done numerous projects in television and film. Some of his hits include "Two Tickets To Paradise, ""Baby Hold On, " "Walk On Water, " "Think I'm In Love," and "Shakin. “

Local performances by:

The Mojo Scoundrels - Formed in 2005, The Mojo Scoundrels are a Miami based cover band playing unforgettable favorites of the classic music era of the 60’s and 70’s to the hits of today. From Motown to funk, classic rock to modern pop, The Mojo Scoundrels give the audience what they want and more! Featuring the double threat of lead vocalist and multi- instrumentalist Brett Brown, along with the seductive yet powerful lead vocals of Bryah Brown, The Mojo Scoundrels light the stage on fire with every performance. Add the sizzling rhythm section of the “ultimate showman”, Huey Samuel on bass, and Mike Slichter on drums, The Mojo Scoundrels are a force that will not be tamed. With the indomitable stylings of guitarist Robert Zisook, and the sheer virtuosity of keyboardist Willie Brown, The Mojo Scoundrels take this “cover band” to a whole new level. Whether it’s the sheer joy of Rick James “Give It To Me Baby”, the inspiration of Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On” or the raw power of the Ike and Tina Turner classic “Proud Mary”, The Mojo Scoundrels put themselves into the music to create an energy audiences are calling “The Mojo Scoundrel Experience.”

Mr. Nice Guy - Mr. Nice Guy is South Florida's premier classic rock group. The band formed in 2002 features 3 dynamic lead vocalists, and the tightest rhythm section in Florida according to Jimi Robinette of Main Event talent. This seven piece band covers anything from Aerosmith to Zeppelin, Beatles to Yes, Cocker to Stevie Wonder...and does so with high energy and precision. Several of the band members have performed in bands with artists such as KC and the Sunshine Band, Clarence Clemons , Tony Stevens of Foghat, and The Village People. Mr Nice Guy recently opened up shows with ZZ Top and The Outlaws.

Blackstar - Blackstar is a multifaceted, Miami-based cover band that has been around in many different forms since 1989.  Blackstar is highly versatile and capable of playing a wide variety of songs but is focused on mainly playing songs that people love but don't usually get to hear.  In 2007, a three-piece horn section, "The Schmokin' Section," was added along with a whole new dimension enabling Blackstar to effectively execute songs that few cover bands can play.  Currently, Blackstar is comprised of six permanent members:  Don Hyink, founding member and band leader (lead vocals/lead guitar), Karl Ellins (bass/keys/background vocals, groovemaster), Bruce Turkel (trumpet/harmonica/vocals/hype man), Allen Lynch (drums), Carlos Avila (trombone/musical director), Oscar Dudamel (Alto and Tenor sax/flute/clarinet), and the newest member and Grammy-award winning musician Paul Hoyle (piano, bass, vocals).  Blackstar also features multiple guest artists and friends of the band that frequently join in on the fun.

Had a great time - the weather was perfect - such a relaxing fun day with great music and a "loving" group of people to share it with! It doesn't get any better than that!

Hi everybody! I just realized that I will actually be attending the event as a vendor for Sleep Number. We'll be having free giveaways for anybody that wants to find their Sleep Number Setting (the best gifts are first come, first served), as well as a contest for a free bed! At least come by and say hi! I'm looking forward to meeting everybody out there!!

Anyone wanna ride with us? There is room for more. Target on Hollywood Blvd just west of I-95 will be the pickup point. We need a time. Maybe Noonish. Give me a call/text[masked]-9164. I have handicap parking and we can ride to front gate on a golf cart like old people.

Greetings! I have a 14 passenger Van (rated for 14 skinny high school kids). As we mature, the equation decreases. I also have a handicap parking pass. Find a common location like Target on Hollywoood Blvd, or Sheratan St Tri-Rail Station and I can take 12-13 to Greynolds Park, and only have to pay for parking once (about $10.00) and ride the golf cart to the front gate, like old people..Leave about 11:30, Noon, or 12:30 and return when everyone decides....or, after Eddie Money. And we need to find a shaddy place to park our chairs...it can really be hot.

The actual entrance for parking is on NE 22nd Ave just south of Miami Gardens Drive. Don't go to West Dixie and 175th.

Make sure you go this year, a this is the last one...some kind of tax paying building to be erected. Parks are for people, not buildings

Harriet, The building that you mentioned is not in Greynolds Park. It will be built south of the park on West Dixie Highway.

I've gone to a few of these Love-Ins at Greynolds Park. Besides the bands, they usually have some classical cars to view along with booths of merchandise to buy. There are numerous trails to take a hike on just to stretch your legs or smoke a doobie. Even though you can't bring a cooler in, just leave the cooler in your vehicle and go fetch your favorite beverage. LOVE, PEACE and ROCKand ROLL!
