Celebrate the Emerald Isle with the 16th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival on Hollywood Boulevard & Harrison Street in Downtown Hollywood, Florida!

Call me regarding parking.  [masked]

In preparation for the 16th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival in downtown Hollywood on Sunday, March 9th, the Boulevard is going green!

The “Greening of the Boulevard” in which shamrocks will be painted along Hollywood Boulevard in Downtown Hollywood will take place on Friday, March 7 from 7:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The Department of Public Works will paint shamrocks every 20-25 feet on the South Side of Hollywood Boulevard starting at 21st Avenue and heading east.

Join us at 1:00 p.m. in front of Mickey Byrne’s Irish Pub and Grill, 1921 Hollywood Boulevard as the “Greening of the Boulevard” culminates with traditional Irish bagpipe music and the painting of the ceremonial final four shamrocks. The Parade’s Grand Marshal and Junior Grand Marshal, along with City officials and the Parade Committee will all be on hand for the festivities and available for photo opportunities.

Each year the City of Hollywood and Hibernians of Hollywood team up to host this annual, free celebration of “all things Irish.” This year’s parade and festival will run from noon to 7 p.m.

Traditional Float Parade
The parade begins at 1 p.m. and will take place on Hollywood Boulevard and Harrison Street between 19th and 21st Avenues. Hope you all have a good time, I will be working. I was not near my I pad, I just ran after work to join everyone at Madi Grau. I was at the main entrance, I waited a while, then went upstairs to see if you got tables. Oh , well could not find anyone, it was not a total loss, made a few bucks, on a slot, and went to Flash backs for a bite. Well next time, all be well
