This group discovered at our Meetup last month that Elvis is alive and well and alive and living in Lake County. You'll love this guy, he is VERY talented. If you like rock, rockabilly or classic Elvis tunes, you must see Elvis Impersonator Travis Morris. Morris is a convincing Elvis, with all the campiness and hip-swivelin' action you'd want and expect from an Elvis impersonator. You don't have to be a big Elvis fan to enjoy the show (this statement comes from someone who yawned when she heard Elvis died, while babysitting). The Travis Morris Show (that's Travis seen in the stamp) starts at 9:30, but host/Elvis fan Tom Barbee will be there at 8:00 PM. Be forewarned, the Fogcutter is a true dive bar. It's a small tavern/restaurant with limited seating, so PLEASE DO NOT RSVP YES unless you plan to come. Management is nice enough to give us a prime spot -- a table near the bar area. The music cover is $5, and there is a $1 Meetup fee. The Fogcutter serves comfort food that Elvis would love -- the fish fry and ribs are said to be good -- until 8:30 pm, if you're hungry. Most of us will strictly be there for the music, and not eating. The Travis Morris Show March 27, 9:00 PM (TA Barbee will be there by 7:45, to grab the prime table) 36021 N Us Highway 45, (Hwy 45 and Grand Ave/ Hwy. 132) Lake Villa, IL 60046 Tel: [masked] Travis Morris on Youtube: http://www.youtube.co... Drink specials include domestic pints $2; premium pints $3 (Blue Moon, Leinie Amber, Sierra Nevada). Don't expect to get any fancy imported beer here like Stella or Hoegaarden. As Elvis would say, "Thank you very much."
