Welcome to Sisters on the Fly California!

This meetup group is meant to serve as a more flexible and fleet-footed way to allow Sisters on the Fly in the Golden State to recreate, navigate and bloviate on and at the many fantastic places and events through-out the state!

As more and more sisters find us, we will be adding events and organizers, and as we all get accustomed to navigating the meetup format, we will be expanding to all corners of the state.

Please don’t be shy about submitting ideas in the message board area, and if you attend events, please post your photos to share the fun!

Some events may include the need for pre-payment. The organizer of that specific event will let you know the best way to handle those for each adventure, whether it is by paypal, check, cash on site or a combination of these. Many of our events will be pay-as-you-go, especially the day trips, but organizers will let you know the expected costs up front.

Due to space limitations, some events may have a maximum number that can attend, so be sure to check in often or set your email specifications to be promptly notified about the fun at hand!

If you have an idea or event you would like to share and aren’t yet an official organizer (and you don’t have to sign on for that if you don’t want to), please do so in the message boards or just drop any organizer an email and we'll work with you to get your events posted.

While we all cherish our connections to the official Sisters on the Fly group, the events listed here are private events meant only to support the Sisterly spirit in a local manner. All participants must understand that any event may involve risks, terrain issues, and the chance of injury, and that the official Sisters on the Fly organization or Meetup is in no way responsible for situations that may arise at these gatherings. We trust that members will behave in a thoughtful, safety-minded way at all events.

When you sign up for this meetup group, please let us know your town and Sister number. A picture of yourself (and/or your trailers!) is highly encouraged.

We are hoping for a mixture of day trips, overnights, grand adventures and simple pleasures, and expect to be able to do this in all price ranges.

Sisters on the Fly has added so much to all of our lives, and we hope that this forum allows us to build on the momentum that we have all been creating over the past several years.
