What are your writing goals?

To foster a state of mind that will allow me to complete a full edit/revision (read: triage) of my current manuscript. To then find a dedicated agent, and through my partnership with him/her, publish my work. To make a career of publishing my work so that I can write full-time. To complete each of the long list of story fragments I've chipped away at over the years. To hone my voice, and to learn how to better adjust it for certain pieces. Motivation is not an issue. But, I tire of the lone wolf strategy, and I've come to understand the power of collaboration, even in the form of implicit support; this is why I gravitated toward this group. In the end, it's the long haul or no haul.

Hi there. This is the block of text where I state how I second-guessed my impulse to write a snarky summary, and then commented on that impulse after summarily discarding my second-guess. Long live imagination, the word, and those who read.
