Bike, Beatles, and Beer

This is a great ride for Sitzmark. We bike a mile on the Des Plains River Trail to Independence Grove.  At the Grove we go 1.7 miles around the lagoons on the paved trail to the concert site.  Then we picnic while enjoying the  Beatles tribute sounds of the Cavern Beat. We need to start back by 8:30 to get to our cars before it gets too dark. You can backpack your food and drink or buy it at the site. Liquor is permitted and sold at this site. Stuff to bring: blanket and/or cushion to sit on, bike lock, front and rear lights on your bike, sunglasses. The concert is free but it's $5 to park a car. (If parking space is available)

We'll start in the far north parking lot of Adler park.  Drive around the the pool and keep on the drive till you see us or come to the end.  Unless you're familiar with this bike route you need to be at the start on time.  I'll leave maps and directions in case you're late.
