What's the Harm is a great website and it shows a lot of instances where people are harmed individually by a lack of Skepticism. But, it doesn't talk about superstition's cost to us, all of us. Therefore, we should discuss this issue. How does other peoples' lack of Skepticism cost society?
Have you heard of Tetraphobia? How about the related Triskaidekaphobia and friggatriskaidekaphobia? These phobias have social costs. In other words, it not sufficient to just be Skeptical, we must also consider spreading Scientific Skepticism to others for everyone's ultimate benefit.
Can you think of other pseudoscience nonsense that cost everyone, even those that don't believe in them?
