This is a group specifically for people who like to AT/Tele ski or snowboard the Alaska backcountry in the winter and mountain-bike or paddle (kayak, packraft) in the summer. If you like to play in the snow or in the dirt or on the water, then this group is for YOU!

There are no leaders for these trips, so participants are expected to have appropriate skills to be self-sufficient in the backcountry. For winter trips that means avalanche training and avi gear and for summer trips it mainly means 'common sense', white water skills and appropriate gear.

This group does NOT provide training classes for beginners! Member are expected to have at least intermediate level ability for any given outing.

Please note: if you sign up for this group, please at least TRY to actively participate in events and/or put an event on the calendar. Any group can only be as functional as its members.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
