I finally got my backcountry skis ready and I am taking the avalanche course dec 27-29. After that, I want to explore the mountains of Alaska.
I can do both, but I do not own either
yes, but novice at best
not yet, but once I gain confidence and some knowledge...
Hey Richard! Good to see you on the Salsa Dancers Meetup. There are great leassons that will teach you the foundational moves in Salsa to give you that confidence that you and your wife need! The next class series starts in July!! Check it out at www.alaskadancepromotions.com. Also make sure you check out the Thursday night Rum Runners party if you are in the Anchorage area. It starts at 9:00 and you'll meet the instructors as well as some of the great dancers in this town!
Greetings Richard. Hope you will join one of outings soon.
Way to go, you two. I bailed from Tim's group about 45 minutes after you. When I go t back to the parking lot a really hard core outdoor pal of mine showed up. His assessment was that the day was an almost total loss for places to go and exercise to do. So he got in the car and drove away. You two hiked a good one, through the storm. Way to go. See you outdoors again soon.
What time are you going to T-Day dinner? I want to be sure I am there at the right time for baked tomatoes. That sounds awesome!!!
Welcome to the group. You will find lots of people willing to share their knowledge and insights with you. Our meetings are pretty relaxed and informal but informative. We get together a couple of times a month to photograph. It can be a big help looking over someone's shoulder. I hope you'll be able to attend our next monthly meeting on December 3rd. Check out the calendar for photo-related area events.
