Founded: September 4, 2009

Group formed, for the purpose of making friends and acquaintances at pre-season (and mid-season) social events -- with a view to possible carpooling once the snow flies. Also, of course, and of primary interest, are skiing/snowboarding together (downhill as well as cross country) at events themselves, that will be planned for and during the season.

Although certainly not exclusively (members are welcomed from all over the Bay Area), many are expected to be from up and down the East Bay.

We'll be staying Fri. night (arrive after skiing all day, if desired) and Sat. night in a complex of rustic, wooden buildings (our "chalet"), located on the North Shore of Lk. Tahoe. Sat. and Sun. ski Squaw (only 15 to 20 min. drive) -- downhill, x-country, &/or ride snowboard. Apres Ski Party in our “Chalet”, and/or soak in the hot tub. Read more
