    Hi Joe,
What is the difference between the Saturday and Sunday schedule? The Itenary for both days show:

Hi Doug. At many skijoring/sled races, the event spans two days, with all classes/competitors running both days, and the winners being determined by taking the combined times from both "legs".

Hey, I think the reschedule is better than cancelation. But I'm pretty sure that I, and everyone else, is going to be busy at another race in Mpls on that same weekend.

Hi Comet. The North Star Club is aware that many skijor teams will have a conflict between the postponed Winter Carnival event and the Loppet race. Unfortunately, this was the only other week that would work to host the event. Anyone who has already registered for the Winter Carnival race and cannot make the postponed dates can contact North Star for a refund.

How can I get started learning?

    December 28, 2012

    • Joe F.

Hi Dan. The local club is Midwest Skijorers and they offer various learning opportunities throughout the year. They have an upcoming event on January 12 you might want to check out. Skijor USA also hosts educational events in the area and has an event on February 10. I will post both events with links to more information shortly.
