Friday Tech Talk: Why OtherScreen Failed

Last fall, CLT startup OtherScreen decided to shut down after several rounds of prototyping, beta testing, and early funding.

Many in the CLT technology community had a chance to see the three principles, Chris Halligan, Andrew Gertig, and Jim Van Fleet , present or demo their creation in person. Doubtless, all of Charlotte was rooting for their platform to take over (and amend) broadcast TV.

Commendably, OtherScreen CEO, Chris Halligan, will candidly walk us through what OtherScreen got wrong, how "the market fired them," and the lessons learned from being another technology startup relegated to the dustbin of history.

Are you planning to record this presentation via video or audio? I can't make it now but would love to be able to listen sometime next week.

VERY informational, entertaining, and... to the point it can be when talking about a "failure"... very inspiring!
