Friday Tech Talk: Hackerspace's Felt Radio

Be mystified no more. During this Tech Talk presented by CLT's Hackerspace, we will not only make, but the group will also
come to understand how a simple radio transmitter works.

Henceforth, this conglomeration of keyboard jockeys will have enough understanding and confidence to smash open any random piece of [abandoned] electronics and scavenge out enough parts to reconfigure them back into a functional radio transmitter!

Did you know it takes less than a dozen components and only 5-10 minutes to assemble and explain radio construction so that middle school students get it? So with 30-45 minutes at SDW's Free Friday Tech Talks, you too might be able to get it!

This same project won Hackerspace Charlotte the Element 14 Great Global Hackerspace Challenge at the 2011 MakerFaire in San Francisco.
